Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect information when you shop, contact us or upload a photograph.
1. Information you provide
Order information includes your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, selected products and payment status. Shopify and its payment providers process payment information during checkout; our contact form and photo upload do not ask for card details.
When you contact us, we collect the name, email address and message you submit. Contact messages are stored so we can review your enquiry and provide support. For a Custom Kit, we also receive the photograph you upload and your kit selections. Avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for your order or enquiry.
2. Technical information and browser storage
Hosting and checkout providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect their services.
Our storefront uses local storage to remember your cart and session storage to remember whether the welcome message has appeared during your visit. Shopify checkout may use cookies and similar technologies for its checkout functions. You can manage cookies and website storage through your browser; removing them may reset your cart or affect checkout. This notice does not imply consent to optional advertising or analytics tracking.
3. Why we use information
We use information to process payment and orders, prepare personalised kits, arrange delivery, answer enquiries, handle returns and resolve order problems. We also use necessary records to meet legal obligations and protect the store against misuse or fraud.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, this may be the performance of a contract or steps you request before a purchase, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating a secure store and providing support. Where consent is required for a separate purpose, it must be obtained separately; placing an order does not by itself authorise unrelated marketing.
4. Custom-kit photographs
Uploaded photographs are stored in private storage, not a public photo gallery. A time-limited signed link is attached to the Shopify order so the photograph can be accessed for fulfilment. Treat that link as confidential: anyone who receives a valid link may be able to open it until it expires.
We use your photograph for preparing and fulfilling the kit and handling related support. We do not treat an upload as permission to publish your photograph or use it in promotional materials. A link expiring does not itself mean that the stored file has been deleted. You can contact us about access or deletion, subject to applicable legal obligations and any ongoing order requirements.
5. Service providers and sharing
Information needed for an order may be processed by Shopify, payment processors, hosting and storage providers, production partners and delivery providers. They receive information relevant to their role, such as delivery details for a carrier or a photograph for custom-kit production. Their own privacy notices may apply where they act independently.
Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements must be met.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, resolving support requests and meeting applicable accounting, legal or recordkeeping obligations. The relevant retention period depends on the information and those obligations; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion date.
We use access controls and private storage for uploaded photographs. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share your payment details or confidential order links publicly, and contact us if you believe information relating to your order has been exposed.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or erase information, obtain a portable copy, restrict processing or object to certain uses. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Submit a request through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. Some requests may be limited by legal recordkeeping requirements or other lawful exceptions. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority.
8. Questions and policy changes
For questions about your data or a Custom Kit photograph, use the contact form on this site. Include enough information to identify the relevant order, but do not include payment card details.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Any new use that requires consent will require that consent rather than relying solely on a change to this page.
